Tiki Vikings is powered by Just For The Win and Microgaming – with 5 reels and 20 paylines, Vikings head to Hawaii in this simple slot that can be played from as little as 10p per spin to as much as £250 a spin (on all devices of course). It comes with re-spins with locked symbols as well as symbol upgrades.
Visually, I must say Tiki Vikings is rather beautiful – with an idyllic setting and soothing soundtrack, it mashes Hawaii and Norse Vikings. Quite odd I know but it works. Symbols include Polynesian style A, K, Q and J card suits – you’ll also see 3 vikings who have flowers in their facial hair. There’s also a Tiki Vikings logo which gives you 2, 4 or 15 times your stake for 3, 4 or 5 in combination.
When you get a winning outcome with the 3 vikings or Tiki Vikings symbols, the Symbol Lock Re-Spin feature comes into play – those symbols lock in position with a re-spin to follow. If more symbols add to the original win, they too lock in place with another re-spin awarded. This carries on until no more new symbols add to the original win.
There’s also a symbol upgrade meter – when this fills up, the Symbol Upgrade feature will be triggered. All locked symbols from the Symbol Lock Re-Spin feature upgrade to the next value symbol. This basically gives you enhanced payouts.
Tiki Vikings looks superb but the features don’t quite match up – variance wise it’s low with top wins of just over 300 times your stake on each spin or re-spin. I love the mesh of themes but I just wish Tiki Vikings would have been a little more volatile.
