Davinci’s Treasure

We’ve tried to win the renaissance master’s diamonds and now, thanks to Pragmatic Play, we’re after Da Vinci’s Treasure. It’s a 5 reel, 25 payline slot that comes with a pick me round, free spins with expanding multipliers and a treasure map bonus. Play this highly volatile game on all devices from between 25p and £125 per spin.

Considering one of history’s greatest artists features in its title the design here is a little underwhelming. The action takes place against a backdrop of a treasure map. The deep red reels include lower value royal values plus an assortment of mystery books, crossbows and knapsacks. The best paying standard symbol is John Hunter who offers awards of up to 32 times your stake per payline.

Da Vinci himself is the game’s wild – he appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only and substitutes for everything apart from the scatter. That scatter is the code wheel. Just like the wild, it can land on the middle 3 reels only. Land 3 on the same spin and you’ll trigger the feature round where on the following 3 bonus features will be awarded at random.

  • Map Quest feature – you’ll be shown a treasure map made up of 23 squares. Spin the wheel to move along the board. The further you go, the bigger the potential awards – up to 100 times your stake.
  • Progressive Multiplier Free Spins feature – land this feature and you can look forward to 12 free spins where a multiplier will increase by 1 on each of them. Re-triggers are possible here too which means up to 60 free spins with a multiplier up to 60x.
  • Prize Picker feature – pick from the 3 objects shown to win a cash prize.

This isn’t the most innovative game you’ll see either in terms of design or features. There’s an old-fashioned look to the visuals. The trio of bonus feature are all old favourites too. It’s all perfectly playable though. And that’s certainly true if you like volatile action. The variance in Da Vinci’s Treasure is very high with payouts of up to 48,000 times your stake if you get lucky with the 60x multiplier!

You’ll play more innovative and better-looking slots than Da Vinci’s Treasure. The sky-high volatility keeps it a playable option though, especially if you like slots that deliver high risks and big potential rewards. I also recommend you try Madame Destiny, by Pragmatic Play, which is also highly volatile.
