Game Description

MP Blackjack brings a new dimension of fun to the online card table. Up to five different players from virtually anywhere in the world can join in a single game. There is a special chat function too, for real-time communication.

Objective

MP Blackjack online is identical to the popular casino card game. Up to five players can participate at once. Winning hands are valued higher than the Dealer’s without exceeding twenty-one points. Other wagers include splitting pairs, doubling down, and insurance.

Rules of Play

MP Blackjack uses six 52-card decks and can seat up to five individual players. Wagering limits are from €2 to €100 per hand. Two cards each are dealt to the players face up. The Dealer receives one card face up and a “hole card” face down. Cards numbered 2 thru 10 count at face value. The Jack, Queen, and King are each worth ten points. Aces may count as either one point or eleven points. Players take action in rotation from the far right, clockwise. They each have options, in turn, to Draw a card, Stand, Split a pair, or Double Down.  Re-splitting is not allowed. Insurance is offered when the Dealer’s up card is an Ace; it pays only if the Dealer’s hole card is a ten or court card. Any player may skip a deal at any time. Chat between players is enabled by using the “Chat” button at the bottom of the screen.

Payouts

Winning wagers on a player’s hand pay odds of 1-to-1 or even money.  The MP Blackjack bonus for a natural (exactly 21 points on two cards) is 3-to-2 odds. Successful insurance bets pay 2-to-1. When the Dealer’s and Player’s hands both have the same value, the result is a “Push” with no winner declared; bets are returned.

In MP Blackjack, dealing is automated so that players do not have to initiate it. Play begins when all bets are placed or players have chosen to “skip” a deal. It’s fun sharing the frustration of losses and elation of wins with others at the table, too.
