Game Description

Jokers are wild in Joker Poker, providing lots of ways to win big, including more Royal Flushes plus opportunities to draw Five of a Kind. This game also has a Gamble Feature that enables doubling up wins on any hand.

Objective

Joker Poker is a card game based upon traditional 5-Card Draw Video Poker. Use Jokers as wild cards to substitute for any other card. Win with a pair of Kings or better. Double up winnings with an optional bonus game.

Rules of Play

Joker Poker offers credit denominations up to €5. Change the credit value by clicking on the +/- buttons at the lower left. Wager from 1 to 5 credits per hand dealt.  To begin play, click “Deal.” Five cards are dealt initially. Choose to hold from one to five cards and then click “Deal” again to receive replacement cards for those discarded. If a hand contains a pair of Kings or better, the payout screen will automatically display the amount won. Following each win, the Gamble Feature is enabled for doubling the amount won by correctly choosing one of four hidden cards larger than the Dealer’s. It is also possible to “double half” instead of the full amount. The current balance appears in the screen’s lower left corner.

Payouts

The minimum qualifying hand for payouts on Joker Poker games is a pair of Kings or better, which pays 1-to-1 odds, as does any Two Pairs. Three of a Kind pays 2-to-1; Straights pay 3-to-1; and Flushes pay 5-to-1. Any Full House earns 7-to-1; Four of a Kind is worth 17-to-1; and a Straight Flush gets a payout of 50-to-1. When a Royal Flush contains a wild Joker, it pays 100-to-1, and Five of a Kind pays 200-to-1. The top payout is 750-to-1 for a Natural Royal Flush (no Jokers), and it earns even more when maximum credits are bet, paying 1,000-to-1.
