Blackjack Switch

Game Description

Imagine playing two Blackjack hands and trading cards between them without breaking any rules. That’s exactly what happens in the game called Blackjack Switch. Put an Ace with a King for instant 21. An optional side bet is offered, too.

Objective

Blackjack Switch is based upon the traditional casino card game. Win with hands that outpoint the Dealer’s without exceeding twenty-one. Two hands are required to play, and cards may be swapped between them. Super Match is the optional side bet.

Rules of Play

Blackjack Switch is played with six decks. Betting limits are from €1 to €300. The rules are very similar to those of standard Blackjack online, but with a number of major differences. On the Player’s side, two hands must always be played. The second cards dealt to each hand may be swapped. Thereafter, doubling down, taking insurance, hitting and standing are the same as in standard Blackjack, although when splitting, re-splitting up to four hands is allowed. On the Dealer’s side, the Dealer must hit soft 17 and pushes on a total of twenty-two instead of busting. The optional Super Match side bet wins when the Player’s initial four cards contain two or more matching cards.

Payouts

In Blackjack Switch, winning bets on the Player’s hand all pay odds of 1-to-1 or even money, including any natural Blackjack (exactly 21 points on two cards).  Whenever the Dealer’s total is exactly 22, all bets result in a “Push” with no winner declared and all wagers returned, except for natural Blackjacks, which still pay 1-to-1. Successful insurance wagers pay 2-to-1. If the Dealer’s and Player’s hands both have the same value, the result is also a “Push.” The Super Match side bet pays as follows: 1-to-1 for a pair; 5-to-1 for three-of-a-kind; 8-to-1 for two pairs, and 40-to-1 for four-of-a-kind.

Enjoy the Game!

When you play Blackjack Switch, you get many more opportunities to split and double down than you do in the classic version of the game. The addition of the optional Super Match side bet also provides ways to win at long odds.
