Objective

Blackjack Progressive resembles the Las Vegas Strip version of the game. The Player attempts to win by beating the Dealer’s total without going over twenty-one points. Additional bets include splitting pairs, doubling down, insurance, and a special progressive side bet.

Rules of Play

Blackjack Progressive is played with six decks. Betting limits range from €1 to €300. The rules are essentially the same as those of standard Blackjack, but with a few differences. All decks are shuffled after every hand, re-splitting is not allowed, and only one card may be drawn when splitting a pair of Aces. Additionally, doubling down after a split is permitted, the Dealer must stand on soft 17 or higher, and the Dealer peeks for Blackjack when showing an Ace, 10, or face card, so insurance wagers are available. The optional progressive side bet features a fixed wagering amount of €1.

Payouts

Just as in standard Blackjack online, the Player’s winning bets pay odds of 1-to-1 or even money.  A natural Blackjack (exactly 21 points on two cards) pays 3-to-2 odds, and successful insurance bets pay 2-to-1. If the Dealer’s and Player’s hands both have an identical total, the result is a “Push” with no winner declared; bets are returned. For the progressive side bet, the payouts are based on the number of Aces dealt.  One Ace pays 5-to-1; two Aces pay 50-to-1; and two suited Aces pay 100-to-1. Three Aces pay 250-to-1; four Aces pay 2,500-to-1; and three suited Aces pay 5,000-to-1. The jackpot is 50,000-to-1 or more, depending on the prize pool, for four suited Aces.
