21 Duel Blackjack
Game Description
Here’s an exciting new twist on a casino classic —21 Duel Blackjack. In this game, all hands totaling 21 are equal, plus there are communal cards and an optional side bet for more ways to win and win big.
Objective
Based on the traditional card game, 21 Duel Blackjack challenges Players to beat the dealer by getting a hand closer to twenty-one points without going over. What’s new is the addition of two communal cards plus the “2 Up Sidebet.”
Rules of Play
The game of 21 Duel Blackjack uses six decks. Betting limits are from €1 to €300. The Player receives one card face up and two face down. The Dealer gets two cards down, while two additional cards are dealt face up as communal cards. The Player may choose to fold and lose the initial bet or else combine the up card with one communal card to start the hand, which requires doubling the original bet. Subsequent choices are to stand or hit; in the latter case one of the Player’s down cards is revealed. Again, the Player may stand or hit. Then the Dealer reveals a down card to be played with one communal card. The Dealer must stand on totals of seventeen or more, otherwise a hit is required by turning over the remaining down card. On totals of twelve or less, the Dealer fails to qualify and the Player wins, otherwise the winner is the highest hand. With a limit of €60, the optional “2 Up Sidebet” pays for pairs or three-of-a-kind among the three initial up cards.
Payouts
All wins pay 1-to-1 as long as the Dealer qualifies. When the dealer does not qualify, the Player’s initial bet pays even money and the required double of the wager pushes. The “2 Up Sidebet” pays 3-to-1 for a pair and 20-to-1 for three-of-a-kind.
Enjoy the Game!
With no splitting, doubling down, insurance, or natural blackjack payouts, you can toss basic Blackjack strategy right out the window when playing 21 Duel Blackjack. It’s just you against the Dealer in a race to 21.
